Remembering

Remembering

Remembering the sacredness of birth is to remember the sacredness of the woman. The journey that is taken, crossing the bridge into heavenly space, and the presence of her return with new life.

Remembering the sacredness of birth reveals to us the need to nourish and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul in a way that honors and encompasses all of what was accomplished, and all that is yet to be.

It’s remembering the women who held this space before us and how important it was for this to be done.

To remember that from a womb we have been created and to a womb we return.

And when we are here, now, we remember that her seeds, her juices, her fruits are what sustain us and keep us strong.

When we remember the sacredness of birth, we remember our roots. How intertwined we are with all mothers, all creators, all of the divine.

Let’s remember to be acts of love. Let’s remember to be in community. Let remember the sacredness of the mother.
